Becoming like Jesus by Learning and Living the Word
Hope Chapel is a Calvary Chapel on Rucker Road. We open the Bible on Sunday morning, work through it a chapter at a time, and spend the rest of the week trying to live what it says.

Four things we keep coming back to
None of this is complicated. It is the Word taught plainly, people who know each other, and hands that show up.
Discipleship
Being a disciple of Jesus means learning His ways and then going out and doing them. We will show you what Scripture says, then send you out to live it.
Caring Community
We want this to be a church where you feel welcome. Come just as you are. We are casual in what we wear, and we want you at home when you worship with us.
Service
We were made to serve God and other people, and it brings real joy. We help you find your gifts and give you somewhere to use them, in the church and in the valley.
Verse by verse
We start at chapter one and keep going
Hope Chapel is part of the Calvary Chapel movement, where the Word of God is taught verse by verse and chapter by chapter. We do not skip the hard parts and we do not build a Sunday around a topic and go looking for verses to fit it.
Right now we are working through Revelation. Before that, First Peter, First John, and the letters to the seven churches. Every study is posted to YouTube, so you can catch up on what you missed or start a book from the beginning.

What Sunday morning looks like
Two services, about seventy five minutes each. Singing, prayer, a teaching out of whatever book we are in, and coffee on the patio before and after.
Before you come
Bring your Bible if you own one
Our pastor teaches from the ESV and will ask you to turn to the passage. If you do not have a Bible, the ushers have some at the door, and we will give you one to keep.

Kids have their own classrooms
Head to the Kids Ministry area and a volunteer will walk you through check in. Every teacher has been background checked and trained, and every classroom has at least two adults.

Most of the week happens outside the building. Men’s and women’s studies, Growth Groups, serving teams, and events all run through our sign-up page.

Come as you are. There is coffee, and someone will say hello.
Jeans, shorts, flip flops, a sport coat if that is your thing. Nobody is checking. Look for the welcome booth on the patio and we will take it from there.
