Last Sunday, we saw God move in a powerful way. Not only did we baptize four people, but at least fifteen people raised their hands in response to the Gospel presentation. Many of those hands belonged to people who were visiting or had been attending our church for a very short time—a huge thank you to everyone who made the day a success.
This Saturday is our Craft Fair. We have a parking lot filled with vendors, food trucks, and various activities. There is literally something for every age. It would be great if everyone from our church could attend to show their support. If you signed up to help, please check in with me when you get there.
Our Trunk or Treat is happening on October 31st from 5-7 PM. Each year, this is an event we offer to the community, and they show up. We will have people passing out candy, bounce houses, games, and free food. It is always really cool to see all of the young families of Mission Hills show up with their little ones in the cutest outfits. You can be a part of this. We need people who are willing to decorate their car and hand out candy, as well as help with the games and bounce houses. If you would like to help, register here. If you can’t help but want to be part of what is going on, you can donate candy. There will be a large can located right inside the entrance of the church for you to drop off your donations.
