The Holidays are not-so-subtly sneaking up on us. In two weeks, it will be Thanksgiving, and soon after, Christmas will be upon us. We have several events planned for the season that you can participate in. It starts with the church Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday evening, November 23rd. It starts at 6 pm, and we will provide the turkey. We ask that you bring a side dish and a dessert. After dinner, we will have a time of sharing what we are thankful for. Mark your calendars for Pancakes & PJs on Saturday, December 13th, the Women’s Christmas party on Monday, the 15th, and our Christmas Eve service at 5 pm on the 24th.
Our Christmas project this year is to support thirty Indian pastors. For $30, you can provide an Indian pastor with a bag of rice to feed his family for the month, as well as internet access to attend classes that I teach on Sunday evenings. The group has grown from 80 pastors to over 110 in the last month. Each of those pastors represents churches of 35 people. That’s a ministry impact of close to 4,000 people. Your support can go a long way to reach a nation desperately in need of Jesus.
